CashMartIndia is a fast-growing platform that helps people sell their used laptops, mobiles, cameras, and other gadgets in just a few simple steps. The brand focuses on fair pricing, quick pickups, and secure payments, making it one of India’s trusted names in the gadget reselling space.
Their vision is simple: to make selling old devices as easy and transparent as buying something new.
The existing WordPress website had clear limitations:
Performance bottlenecks: too many plugins slowing down the experience
Rigid layouts: WordPress themes made customization difficult
Poor user flows: users had to jump through hoops to complete simple actions like “Check Device Price” or “Schedule Pickup”
Conversions stuck: even with traffic coming in, the design wasn’t inspiring trust or driving action.
We needed to fix the fundamentals — better UI/UX, smoother journeys, and a platform built for performance.
We implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy to address these challenges, focusing on:
We began by studying how people actually used the site. Heatmaps and analytics showed where users dropped off. The selling journey was long and confusing. Navigation buried important CTAs.
We mapped out a new user journey that made “Sell Your Device” the hero action. Early wireframes focused on reducing friction and giving users fewer choices at every step.
This month was all about prototypes. We tested simplified paths:
Homepage → Select Device → Get Price → Schedule Pickup
CTAs were repositioned for visibility
Navigation was stripped down to essentials
We also designed mobile-first layouts, since the majority of CashMartIndia’s users browse on phones.
With the flows locked in, we designed high-fidelity screens that were clean, fast, and trust-driven.
Bold CTAs (“Sell Now”) with contrasting colors
Clear trust sections (testimonials, number of devices sold, secure payment)
Minimalist layouts that didn’t overwhelm
We conducted usability tests with real users — small tweaks (like repositioning form fields) led to smoother interactions.
Alongside the customer-facing site, we redesigned the admin experience. The old WordPress backend was cluttered and plugin-heavy, so we built a custom dashboard with:
Clear sections for Leads, Devices, Payments, Analytics
Visual reports for quick insights
Faster workflows with fewer steps
Role-based access for team efficiency
This gave the internal team the same clarity and speed we were building for customers — a complete front-to-back UX overhaul.
Traffic increased significantly after launch 218%.
Conversion rate grew 348%.
Dropped 34.86% users engaged more with simplified flows.
Internal team now manages leads and device flows faster with the new dashboard
Migrating away from WordPress plugins meant rebuilding some functionality from scratch
Early assumptions about user behavior were challenged during usability testing
Designing for the internal dashboard was a reminder that UX isn’t only for customers — it’s also about making teams more efficient
For CashMartIndia, leaving WordPress wasn’t just a tech decision — it was a growth decision.
By focusing on UI/UX and building both a customer-facing site and a custom admin dashboard, we saw a measurable jump in traffic, conversions, and team efficiency in just four months.
Now, CashMartIndia has a digital presence — and a back-office system — that’s fast, trustworthy, and built for scale.
